Looking through my Facebook photos makes me smile.. sad.. reminiscent.. but probably most of all, cringe. I know we shouldn't judge yesterday's fashion by today's standards, but it's easy to think "what the f*ck was I thinking?". When I started Uni I never wore fake tan, a clutch bag for a night out was unheard of and false lashes was a no no for me, a few years on and everything's different. I sometimes think, will I be embarrassed looking back at 2013's pictures...?
So, I went the dreaded 'backwards' on my Facebook profile pictures [what I like to do on really attractive people's profiles to see if they were always that blessed].
[1] 2008 - The year of the blue eyeliner, messy brows and the new look leather jacket I absolutely loved. |
[2] Summer 2009 - Magaluf - The year I decided bleach blonde was definitely my thing. Probably one of two times I've been naturally tanned in the past decade.
[3] Later on in 2009 - hair *actual size* Can't believe my hair was THIS short.
[4] First year of Uni and probably one of the first times I'd had my eyebrows waxed. What's my blusher.. also note - no falsies!
[5] Toning the hair down, it's 2011 and I've got falsies on at last! |
[6] A trip into the world of clip in extensions, which soon ended after always taking them out during the night out and clipping them into people's hair..
[7] 2012 ends with big lashes and growing hair.. |
[8] Which brings me to today... |
Do the same and look how different you look, what I notice is that in most of these I'm happy... so I guess even if I am cringing right now, at least it was a laugh!
